What a fun and dazzling experience at Aladdin - The Hit Broadway Musical in Marina Bay Sands!
I can not recommend it highly enough if you have a little that enjoys music, dancing, sparkles and that Disney magic!
Ella Grace went into it knowing nothing about Aladdin but we all came out huge fans!

- The Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands is quite small and intimate so not too overwhelming for a little one.
- We booked really late and got A Reserve Stalls Side seats which were about 8 seats up from the stage to the right and she had a blast! She was close enough to check out the orchestra pit, be able to see the whole production (not too far nor close!), be able to have the confetti streamers rain on her during one of the parts of the show.
- They provided cute little booster seats for little ones that made a big difference!
- Bathrooms are close by, clean and well-equipped though very packed during intermission. Kacau daddy hacked it and took her to the men’s instead! 🎉🎉
- We opted for the dinner + show option which was nice because our meal was thought out for us (we chose Yardbird which seemed the most kid-friendly) and it included the extra perk of having an attendant purchase from the concession stand to avoid the huge lines.
- The production is spectacular!! Such a phenomenal cast and set, it really blew any expectations we had by a mile. The costumes, the dancing, the props!!! I can’t even begin to explain how beautiful and fun it was. There is a legit magic carpet ride that defies all logic and to watch your little one’s face light up, well, that was worth every penny and even the trip to Singapore!
- There were a few themes that might need some explaining for little ones - Aladdin steals for a living, his mama has died, he lies throughout the show etc. There was also a few parts that Ella Grace found a little scary but not too overwhelming - guards threatening to kill Aladdin, Jaafar, Cave of Wonders, fight scenes.
- The timing of the musical was really the hardest part for us to navigate. It’s two hours long with a short 15min break at the hour mark but the show times were the trickiest as it either clashed w naptime or bedtime. The night shows were 7:30pm on weekdays with shows on Saturday at 2:30pm/7:30pm and Sundays at 1pm and 6:30pm. In the end we opted for the Sunday 1pm show and it worked out really well though she did start to get a bit tired halfway but the musical is fun enough that it kept her mesmerized!
Unfortunately, this was their last weekend at their only stop in Asia but if you have a chance to catch it elsewhere, I would absolutely highly recommend it! 4 and up would really be the perfect age but toddlers would enjoy it too though may not last as long!
